Saban

Saban is the name of the ejido (cooperative landholding unit) and pueblo in which we stayed.  The pueblo is located approximately 12 kilometers northwest of the site of Yo'okop, although the site is still within the ejido

Here is a view of Saban's zocalo (main square) after a very heavy rain.  The photo was taken from one of the church towers.

On the left is the family we rented a room from with their grandson.  On the right is the Warlord (our truck) in front of their house; on the far left of this photo is part of the house where we stayed.  In the photo below, Ek Be is sitting in our front door.
