College of the Redwoods
Search our library by author, topic, title. If we have the book, the results tell you which campus library has the book. We do have some good math history books but they tend to be too advanced for many of our math students. We continue to write grants to build up the diversity of our math book offerings. Keep checking.

Humboldt State University
The math history collection at HSU is just fantastic due to the long term interest of their mathematics faculty. CR faculty have community member library privileges and I urge you to take advantage of this opportunity. They also get any journal (and more) that might interest you. Use this site to find books by title, author, or topic.

MAA Recommended Library List
The list dates from 1992 and will be updated. You can choose Search using intended audience, author, title, and subject area. Choose Table of Contents to see books the MAA recommends for undergraduate libraries; these books are rated *** (essential), ** (highly recommended), * (recommended). Preface states the case for building a good library and would a useful reference when writing grants.

MAA Book Reviews
The MAA has maintained online books reviews since 1996. The diversity of reviewers makes for interesting reading. Look for the link to book reviews prior to 1996 where you can search by author, title, topic, or reviewer. A FAVORITE
