ABSTRACT
This
paper will briefly discuss about logistic growth model that is affected
by harvesting.
DISCUSSION OF VARIABLE
The equation for
the logistic growth model that is affected by harvesting is
Equation(1)
where x is the carrying capacity of
the population, (a-bx) is the per unit of time, a and b are non negative
constants, q is the maximum amount of vegetation eaten per head of cattle
per day, d is the plant population at which the animal is 95%full, and
s is the number of head of cattle stocked. Thus h(x) is a harvest
rate and has units of vegetation per day. From the Equation (1), the function,
(a-bx), is the linear decreasing function ,and h(x) is the harvest rate.
The equation basically expresses that the change in population is in terms
of the harvest rate and the growth rate of the population. Furthermore,
in depth analysis can be analyzed at here.
